Congratulations Mr & Mrs Rogers

What a stunning day we had here at Brean Country Club on Saturday 21st September to celebrate the wedding of Debbie & Ian. Ian enjoyed some lovely September sunshine with drinks on the balcony of the wedding lodge along with a few family and friends. Debbie got ready at home, putting on a beautiful dipped hem gown with sheer lace sleeves and arriving in style in an Audi R8 sports-car. Ian looked particularly dapper in a funky shirt with navy suit wear which was in keeping with their blue and lace theme. The brides daughter Toni and the page boys led the way down the aisle, before Debbie entered to the track ‘A million love songs’ accompanied by her son Kyle.

The Kingfisher Suite was dressed for 80 people with white chair covers and hessian and lace sash.  The cream aisle runner trimmed with navy petals finished the decor. All the floral displays were provided by Rosemarys Florists and added a pop of colour with the wild blooms pulling everything together. Once Mr and Mrs Rogers said I do and signed the official register the whole wedding party joined the celebrations by singing along to Darren Styles ‘save me’ and the happy couple danced back down the aisle and out of the ceremony to a cold glass of celebratory fizz.

Guests made their way downstairs to mouth-watering canapés served alongside a glass of bubbly. The children got to enjoy making up their own pick and mix from the sweet cart positioned in the lounge. Our Kestrel Suite was the choice for their Wedding Breakfast with over 120 family and friends to celebrate with the newlyweds.  The room was decorated with colourful balloon displays. The happy couple had chosen to be entertained with the amazing vocals of Tim Pitman and Breeze and later in the evening by Ian McKenna. The groom’s daughter also sang to the guests.

The celebrations were in in full swing by the time the buffet was announced and guests made their way to some delicious treats laid out in the lounge. This included homemade sausage rolls, goats cheese and red onion tart, tiger prawns, hot buffalo wings, black-forest gateau and homemade trifle amongst other items chosen especially for their guests by the bride and groom.

As a final show stopper Debbie had organised a fireworks display as a surprise for new husband Ian. To finish off the evening hot pork rolls with all the trimmings were offered and Debbie and Ian got to finish the evening dancing into the late hours with friends and family.

It was a pleasure to hold your wedding here at Brean Country Club and the whole team congratulate you on your special day.
