At our adjoining 4-star holiday resort we have a fleet of luxury lodges and caravans. All our accommodation is of a very high standard with some units sleeping up to 8 people. With modern, luxurious fittings such as flat-screen TVs, en-suites, full cooking facilities and large lounge areas.

Accommodation prices in our luxury range of holiday homes are at competitive rates. We can also accommodate motor homes, touring caravans, and tents on pitches within 400 metres of the 1st Tee.

We can also accommodate groups and corporate guests at various times throughout the year with a wide range of units to choose from. Each is appropriately priced and you’ll find something to suit most budgets. All units are located in a private area which is tastefully landscaped and close to all facilities. Make sure you take time to visit some of the great attractions the West Country has to offer nearby – pop into the famous Cheddar Gorge or take a stroll and admire the rugged beauty of Exmoor.

Remember, when you stay with us, you are entitled to full use of all the resort facilities including discounted swimming, use of the fishing lake, entertainment venues, discounted theme park tokens and half-price green fees on the golf course. The perfect break for the whole family.

Payment Terms

1. A non-refundable deposit of £25 per person is required to secure the booking unless agreed otherwise.

2. 12 Weeks before the Golf Break. The remaining balance and final numbers must be received and the names of each person and rooming list is to be provided.

Conditions of Play

3. Standard of Golf. Whilst we do not require handicap certificates, we request that all players are of a competent ability and respect other golfer’s abilities.

4. Tee Times. You are expected to check into the Golf Shop prior to each round and arrive on the tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time.

5. Pace of Play. Slow play must be avoided at all times and where possible keep up with the group in front. Whilst we don’t expect you to rush around the golf course please give consideration to others on the course and allow faster players through if required.

6. Golf Course Dress Code. No denim/jeans or tracksuits are allowed. Trousers or tailored shorts are only to be worn and all shirts must have a collar or a mock neck (no round neck T-Shirts permitted) and short socks are permitted with shorts. We prefer that golf shoes are worn on the Golf Course. Golf shoes may only be worn in the designated changing areas of the Country Club. Although these areas are covered with a spike-proof carpet, golfers are requested to take extra care to ensure that golf shoes are free from mud and grass before entering the building from the Golf Course. Should a member of your group be inappropriately dressed we reserve the right to refuse them access to the golf course.

7. Buggies. Buggies may only be driven by those over the age of 17 years and holding a valid driving licence. The use of all buggies, electric trolleys and trolleys are subject to weather conditions and is made on a daily basis by our Head Green Keeper. This decision is based on creating the best playing conditions for those on the golf course on the day and also the health and safety of those on the golf course. We recommend you book a buggy in advance with the Pro Shop. A hire fee of £25 per buggy per round applies.

8. Health and safety information regarding the course can be read here and we recommend all players read it before playing.

9. Brean Country Club reserves the right to remove golfers from the course who are not deemed to be of competent ability or who fail to abide by the conditions of play.

9a If the course is likely to be closed due to the poor weather, then every endeavour in the first instance will be to arrange golf elsewhere at other local courses. If this is not possible then a credit note will be offered to the value of the booking for 12 months.

General

10. Group Organiser. The person named in all correspondence will become known as “The Group Organiser”. He/she will remain as group organiser until the stay is completed. The group organiser will be our point of contact at all times and will be granted authority to deal with us on behalf of every member of the relevant group. The group organiser accepts full responsibility for his/her group, and he/she should ensure all members of his/her party adhere to the terms and conditions at all times.

11. Code of conduct. Brean Country Club places great emphasis on providing a pleasant and safe environment for its guests and staff. As such, we reserve the right to ask any guest who is abusive, threatening or offensive to guests or staff to leave the club immediately and will incur any relevant early departure charges. Reasons for summary eviction include drunken behaviour, unreasonable demands, foul language, racist comments, suspected theft from the company or other guests, trespass in staff-only areas, wilful avoidance of agreed charges, and suspected use of illegal substances – although this list is not exhaustive. All of our public areas are covered by CCTV and a 24-hour Security Team. We reserve the right to recover any compensation payment as a result of your actions, or a member of your party or visiting friends. This includes damage to accommodation, fixtures and fittings. Brean Country Club reserves the right to charge you for any breakages or malicious damage to property caused by anyone within your party.

12. If Brean Country Club is prevented from carrying out all its obligations by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including government intervention, strikes, labour disputes, accidents, acts of God, national or local disasters or war or any event causing the whole or a substantial part of the Company to be closed to the public, The Company’s liability will be no greater than the amount already paid by The Client to the Company in respect of services booked.

13. Car Parking – Complimentary car parking is available. Although every reasonable care is taken, Brean Country Club cannot take any responsibility regarding guests’ cars.

14. Dress code – Within the Country Club is smart/ casual. A collared shirt is required for dinner (polo shirt acceptable)

15. Meals – if a food package has been purchased this will be provided at the set time. For evening meals pre-order is required in the morning at breakfast or when you arrive at the pro shop on your first day,

Accommodation

16. Check-in for accommodation is 3pm on the day of arrival. If you have booked accommodation at Brean Country Club check-in will be at the reception. If you have booked accommodation elsewhere on the Resort this will be at Holiday Resort Unity Reception. A pre-authorisation of £100 is taken upon check-in for each accommodation unit. Pets – Pets are not permitted in accommodation within the Country Club or on the golf course.

Cancellation

17. 2 – 4 Weeks before Golf Break. If the booking is cancelled or any reductions are made in numbers, a 50% refund of the cancelled value will be given, minus the deposit.

18. 2 Weeks before Golf Break. If the booking is cancelled or any reductions are made in numbers the total cost of the booking will be taken. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
