On Thursday 17th December we celebrated the wedding of Amanda & Duane. It was second time lucky for this lovely couple who had earlier had to postpone their special day due to Coronavirus restrictions.
A chilly but bright day, the Bride & Groom were joined by 13 of their closest family & friends to celebrate their marriage. Amanda made her entrance wearing a beautiful lace gown to John Legends ‘All of me’. Our Kingfisher suite which was dressed with white chair covers and pale blue sash, personalized balloons supplied by Esta from Balloonaroo completed the room. Once Amanda & Duane had completed their vows and were finally officially Husband & Wife, Cindy Kitchker their photographer took the whole bridal party outside for those important photos.
For their Wedding breakfast, the couple and guests enjoyed a menu starting with sweet potato and rosemary soup followed by pan-fried chicken breast, fondant potato, Mediterranean vegetables and a scummiest cider and chorizo sauce. Dessert was a swan choux bun filled with chantilly cream.
The Bride and Groom were then able to relax and enjoy their afternoon with a notable speech by Amanda’s son and an extra special message sent from Amanda's maid of honour who sadly was unable to attend due to the restrictions in place.
Amanda & Duane then went to settle into our luxurious honeymoon lodge and to continue their celebrations together for the rest of the evening.
From all of the team at Brean Country Club we wish you both the very best for your future together and hope to welcome you all back again for the ‘big party’ when we are able.
